To the Shores of Mysterious Gandwick

The Youth Club of the Russian Geographical Society of the Arkhangelsk Region together with the Onezhskoye Pomorye National Park submits applications for the expedition "To the Shores of the Mysterious Gandwick", which will be held from 5 to 18 September 2018.

Traveling on the Onega Peninsula will allow participants to get acquainted with the nature of the Russian North, carry out scientific research on the territory of Onezhskoye Pomorye, take part in ecological and educational activities in remote villages.

The territory of the park is the White Sea-Baltic Flyway of birds. Hundreds of thousands of geese, ducks, waders head to the nesting sites through the Onega Peninsula in spring, and in the autumn - back to the wintering grounds.There is a real opportunity in the park to see numerous flocks of migratory birds.
