A limited series of postcards with the sights of the Orenburg Region has been issued. Bright postcards telling about the beauty and diversity of nature of our country are a joint project of the Russian Geographical Society, Rostourism, and the Russian Post.

The new series includes views of 20 Russian regions. The postcards are made in the same style, based on the best works of the RGS photo contest "The Most Beautiful Country". Among them were images of the nature of the Sorochinsk Urban District (the author of the picture is Dmitry Merkulov), two views of the Karamuruntau Ridge (the authors of the pictures are Vasily Yakovlev and Pyotr Zakharov), the beauty of the Saraktash District (the author of the picture is Andrey Sharapov) and the Sol-Iletsk Urban District (the author of the picture is Tatiana Kuramshina).

Traveling in Russia is becoming more and more popular among tourists. However, even now, not every region can boast of postcards with local views. Most often, colorful postcards are sold in souvenir shops, from where they cannot be sent immediately. Now fans of traveling in Russia will be able to buy and immediately send postcards with photos of the places they visited to friends or relatives.

The new colorful postcards have already gone on sale. They can be found at the post offices of the region and at the store of the Russian Geographical Society in Moscow.
